It is possible to book a free or paid seat from the moment the reservation is created only for airlines that allow this, without having to wait until check-in to do so.  


The choice of seat can be made at two different times: during the creation of the booking or after the request has been made. 


To book a free or paid seat, follow the steps below: 


Booking a seat during the creation of the booking 


1. After creating the request and generating the booking, click on Select a seat at the top right: 




2. Select the desired seat;


3. Once the booked seat has been confirmed, click Close; 


4. If there is another segment, select the segment at the top of the screen and select the desired seat.

1. If you have already created the request, go to the request and click on the Request details icon: 




2. You can proceed two ways: 

  • Online: click on "Click here to book your seats Online" and book the desired seat or; 
  • Offline: click on "Click here to book your seats Offline", inform which seat was booked directly with the airline for each segment and click on Save to save the information.


3. After the booked seat has been confirmed, click Close.


📃 Information: To book a paid seat, the platform must be configured beforehand. To request this setting, please contact the Copastur product support team.


✅ Tips! 
  • You can view the traveler's seat and position preference to choose the best option. Check out more information in How to view or edit the traveler's seat and position preference;
  • If seats of the traveler's preference are available, a free seat can be booked automatically when the platform is properly configured. To request this setting, please contact the Copastur product support team.
